Site policy · Updated July 15, 2026

Privacy should be specific, not implied.

Generated passwords stay in your browser

All passwords, passphrases, PINs, and strength checks are created or analyzed by JavaScript running in your browser. The tools do not send these values to our servers.

No password history

The site does not store generated credentials in cookies, local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, a database, or a recent-history feature. A generated result remains visible in the current page until it is replaced, refreshed, or closed.

Hosting logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp, and security events to deliver and protect the site. Generated passwords are not part of those HTTP requests.

Privacy-focused traffic analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and understand aggregate traffic such as page path, referrer, approximate region, browser, operating system, and device type. It does not use third-party analytics cookies or build a browsing profile across websites.

Analytics receives page navigation information only. Generated passwords, password-checker input, clipboard contents, character selections, and generated results are never included in analytics events.

Advertising

The site does not currently load advertising scripts. This policy and the privacy controls will be reviewed before advertising is enabled.

Clipboard

The site writes to your clipboard only when you select the copy button. Clipboard contents are controlled by your browser and operating system.

Contact and changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
